Kevin Marti Elected Vice Chair of the American Fraternal Alliance Board

OAK BROOK, IL, September 14, 2016 – The American Fraternal Alliance announces that Kevin A. Marti was installed as Vice Chair of its Board of Directors at the 2016 Annual Meeting, September 10, in Nashville, Tennessee.

“The Alliance and its member societies congratulate Kevin on his election to serve as Vice Chair of the Board,” said Alliance President and CEO Joseph J. Annotti. “The Alliance and its Board of Directors are dedicated to providing our members with the tools they need to thrive as a modern and financially sound fraternal benefit society.”

As Vice Chair of the Alliance Board, Marti will continue to provide strategic direction to the association that represents 64 fraternal benefit societies. Fraternal benefit societies are not-for-profit membership organizations offering volunteer, social and networking opportunities, along with insurance and other financial products.

Kevin Marti has served as the ninth President and CEO of Gleaner Life Insurance Society in Adrian, MI, since June, 2012. Prior to joining the Society, Marti served in executive roles at Patriot Life Insurance Company/Frankenmuth Insurance (MI), Erie Insurance Group (PA), Country Financial (IL), and Westfield Insurance Group (OH). His professional training, and employment for the first half of his career, was in the life actuarial field.

Marti earned a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He holds the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA), and is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
