When it comes to life claims, effective initial communication is key to managing a consistent and efficient customer experience. This webinar reviews the state timelines within which to acknowledge a claim and the initial communication requirements a carrier must give to the claimant. Paying claims in a timely manner eliminates the need to pay interest on overdue claim payments. Legal requirements involved in paying a timely claim are reviewed as well as when state mandated interest must be calculated and added to the claim payment.
